In the rare event that your car does get damaged during a booking with ShiftRide, we will be able to take care of it for you and will take the proper route depending on the severity of the damage. We require that you report damages to us within 48 hours of the subscription's return time. Please send us clear photos of the damages and a repair estimate that you would like to be reimbursed for by your preferred mechanic.
If the damages are under $1,000
The customer responsible for the damages will be charged and this will affect their rating, helping us continue to provide access to only safe drivers.
If the damages are over $1,000
Based on our Terms of Service and the severity of damages and how they were caused, we will take the necessary actions in filing a claim through our insurance partners and reimburse you when the claim is paid.
