All customers and car providers should take clear/sharp photos of all around the car, interior, fuel and mileage levels to note its condition, at pickup/handoff of the car and at the time of return.

Taking Photos at Renewal

Additionally, we require customers to send their car providers photos every 7 days as their subscription renews. Failure to do so may result in fees placed on your account and your subscription being cancelled.

We also highly recommend that you send these photos to us, through the chat on our website, or to support@shiftride.com right after taking them.

Why do Trip Photos Matter?

When things such as damages and scratches, missing fuel, km overages, and such are reported by car providers, we highly rely on photos sent by users to be able to verify these claims.

If there is a reported incident but you failed to send clear trip photos before pick up and at return, you will be charged for repair fees, the missing fuel, overage km fees, and more depending on the situation regardless of whether you have caused this or not.

Please note: in certain cases, we may reject photos sent outside of your trip time. Be sure to send us trip photos no later than an hour after taking them.
